Depending on the definition most people have an addiction Some are socially approved And you know because withdrawal symptoms occur when trying to stop or life events cut them off.
You'd never think a job or a relationship could be an addiction;however after a brief respite in retirement you feel that you need to be meaningful or attached to something again just like an addiction There aren't many people I know of that would agree with position but think of it:
And maybe that is why addiction is so hard to treat is very similar to other types of attachments.
Simple acts,habits, and behaviors can be addictive distractors ...like putting too many hours in work or by not having outside friends besides your own family and relationships.
